I make one-of-a-kind ceramic vessels exploring the relationship between form, function, and surface.

I'm particularly interested in botanical forms, landscape, texture, and the ways carved and painted surfaces can interact with the geometry of a vessel. I look for a balance between structure and spontaneity - pieces that feel considered, but still retain something of the natural world.
